Being a graphic designer isn't just a way to earn money for me, it is a way of life - I like to say that it isn't something I do, it is something I am - a way of thinking and being. It is walking down the street looking at signs and reading flyers and newspapers and magazines, watching TV advertisements and looking at all those annoying advertisements on websites and even my phone, all the while considering how it could be done more clearly, more consisely, how could others more easily understand the message that is portrayed. It is looking at architecture and furniture and vehicles, understanding what has been done right and what could be done better. And, at times, it is taking it upon myself to try and design and even create things that are better.
In that sense, saying I have a passion for design and creative is a bit of an understatement. While I work all day doing graphic design, I often spend the evening creating things that I would like to bring to life. Some of these things are only for my amusement, some are for everyone to share.
